    What You Can Expect

    Our Chase Leadership Development Risk Management Program is a 10-week internship that will provide you with invaluable work experience within one of our Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Risk lines of business. Work alongside our top-tier professionals, shaping our product strategy and supporting models that manage our financial reputation and regulatory performance. You'll help mitigate and manage risk, building critical capabilities that allow the firm to manage any kind of market.

    Within Risk Management, projects may include product strategy development, analyzing data to support risk/reward business decisions, assessing and forecasting profit and loss, and analyzing performance metrics. In addition, you will gain knowledge of our credit risk management, controls, and infrastructure, and help provide effective risk management improvements.

    Our training curriculum will enhance your business knowledge and professional and technical skills. Frequent manager feedback, coaching, peer mentoring and opportunities to build your network will round out your internship experience. You may receive an offer for full-time employment upon successful completion of the program.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Minimum GPA of 3.2
    • Pursuing a B.A., or B.S. degree with expected graduation of December 2019 or May 2020.
    • Coursework in Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Physics a plus
    • Excel and Word proficiency
    • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills – We encourage everyone to bring their whole self to work because being well-rounded matters.
    • Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills – We love to solve problems, so be ready to share solutions.
    • Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing collaborative environment – We are extremely busy and need you to be resourceful.
    • Ability to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn
    • Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
