  • Responsibilities

    Reports to: Senior Director, Consumer Engagement

    In this ever-evolving position, you’ll help support all Consumer Engagement initiatives – from PR and marketing initiatives to social content creation to influencer programs and more. You are a highly collaborative team player with the drive to complete projects on time and with excellence.

     

    Community management (10%)

    • Partner with Managers to engage consumers and influencers throughout social to drive favorable brand conversations and consumer relationships
    • Engage daily with top Murad influencer IG posts/stories

    Campaigns/programs support (75%)

    • Assist with the planning and execution of all editor, influencer and consumer events 
    • Create product launch recaps, inclusive of execution details and results
    • Help to manage media and influencer mailing lists; capture and log social posts
    • Assist in VIP appointments at Murad’s HQ – inclusive of editors, influencers, celebrities, makeup artists, agents and more
    • Dig into influencer activity across the social-sphere (e.g., Instagram, YouTube) to report on trends, content and collaborations
    • Maintain product closet, mail packages and provide other administrative support, as needed

    Social execution (15%)

    • Help produce Instagram Stories as needed, working with social media team on storyboards and copy
    • Curate and manage social giveaway logistics (including: selecting winners, alerting winners, fulfillment, etc.)

  • Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree required or in-progress
    • Excellent judgment to drive optimal brand engagement in online beauty/brand communities and identify/escalate potential issues/crises
    • Passion for beauty, lifestyle and wellness industry
    • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for both PC and Mac
    • Capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite, photography and graphic design, a plus
    • Understanding of file and asset management
    • Knowledge of and passion for digital/social media and beauty trends within the media
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
    • Energetic, solution-oriented team player with strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
    • Stay up-to-date on new social platforms and tools; monitor competitors and other social media leaders for learnings, insights and best practices to remain a leader in skincare
