    What We’re Looking For

    A Research & Innovation Internship at L’Oréal gives you the opportunity to play an active part in delivering L'Oréal's Formulation innovation, day in and day out, as you steer your own projects and deliverables over the course of 11 dynamic weeks.

    We’re looking for analytical, detail-oriented rising college and graduate school seniors (with an expected graduation date of no later than May 2021) to contribute to a fast-paced, multifaceted environment on one of our Research & Innovation teams.

    What You’ll Do

    L’Oréal was founded in 1909 by a chemist who invented a breakthrough formulation of hair dye he called Oréale. Therefore, scientific innovation is at the core of L’Oréal’s DNA. With an annual investment of over $1 billion in research and over 500 patents registered in 2017 alone, L’Oréal’s R&I team is one of the best in the world.

    We employ teams with diverse technical skills to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments with the goal of disrupting conventional wisdom on our how our consumers buy our products.   • Qualifications

    Requirements for the R&I Internship include:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree student graduating in December 2020 or May 2021 with a minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Majoring in: Chemistry (Physical, Polymer, or Organic), Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical), Material Science and Physics
    • This position requires that candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing, permanent basis without requiring sponsorship in the future
    • Interns are required to provide their own transportation to and from work location
