Idea Lab Kids promotes S.cience T.echnology E.ngineering A.rts and M.ath classes to students and campers. This is called STEAM Education and it is a major focus of Education efforts around the United States.

What we are looking for:

Currently, Idea Lab Kids is looking for dedicated youth educators for FALL 2018 that are looking to develop skills and experience in a classroom setting, using developed Idea Lab Curriculum to guide each class. This is not only a position for future teachers, but also coaches, counselors, engineers, IT professionals and so much more. The STEM curriculum that Idea Lab Covers is tremendous.

This position takes place in the afternoon, and should expect to begin a shift at 2:30pm. Most shifts last 2-3 hours.

• Minecraft Modding
• Lego Robotics (WEDO and EV3)
• First Lego League
• 3D Design and Printing
• Drone Building
• Coding and Programming
• Cooking-Specialty Art and Science
• All types of Engineering

• Managing a group of 8-12 students through exciting, 1 hour filled with lessons and stimulating activities.
• Working on daily setup and clean up for camp classrooms.
• Learn and teach the Idea Lab Curriculum to create a stimulating and enriching after-school experience.
• Comfortable interaction with parents.
• Classroom management skills to work with assigned age groups.
• Organization skills needed for managing class supplies.
• Comfortable with technology and capable of learning new things.
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Background Check Clearance Required before starting.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs from car to classroom
