  • Responsibilities

    The ENTERPRISE CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) TECHNOLOGY team manages Salesforce application utilized by the organization's retail and institutional business units. Enterprise CRM team is responsible for systems analysis, application development, deployment and maintenance of multiple Salesforce environments to support business needs and multiple upstream/downstream systems. DevOps team bridges the gap between Developers and Operations to provide ability to develop, deploy, and release functionality to the business faster by continuous integration and deployment. The Salesforce Developer Intern will work alongside DevOps Engineers in an Agile team to provide support to Salesforce Developers, Systems Analysts and Quality Engineers. The intern will have a unique opportunity to work on various areas of the Salesforce application - configuration, development, administration, deployment, environment setup and work with multiple integration teams.

    This is a full‐time role (8 hours per day, Monday through Friday) and may require occasional travel. The work location is St. Louis. The internship may lead to an offer to become a full‐time associate or an offer for a subsequent internship (depending on graduation date).

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Interns will be assigned to work with Salesforce DevOps team and through agile practices to work against the backlog for that effort.
    • Work with whole teams and deployment to various non-production environments/sandboxes.
    • Assist in maintaining Salesforce environments as requested by upstream/downstream teams.
    • Assist in Analysis, Defect resolution and user provisioning/permissioning
    • Develop POCs, reference implementations, and supporting documentation.
    • Assist in the presentation of research findings.
    • Work as part of a whole team that supports all of our delivery channels; specific projects assigned will be determined on individual education and experience level.
  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Current enrollment in a four year or graduate program (computer science, MIS, or similar technology degree).
    • Successful completion of college sophomore study semesters
    • GPA of 3.0 or greater
    • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
    • CSS, JavaScript, HTML, XML or related development experience.
    • Understanding of Object Oriented design and design patterns.
    • Understanding of DevOps principles
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; prior internship experience is a plus
    • Ability to understand and assimilate with TD Ameritrade core values of people matter, client centric, integrity first, work together and strive to win.
