  • Responsibilities

We’re looking for a versatile writer to contribute on our Starbucks Reserve and Princi brands. This is an extraordinarily dynamic part of the Starbucks business; our upcoming Roastery opening in Milan marks a historic moment — and it’s just the beginning. The storytelling opportunities are as abundant as they are exciting: digital, social, packaging, print, product copy, long copy, short copy, environmental copy — on any given day, we do a little bit of everything. We value strategic thinking, listening, presence without ego, the willingness to respond quickly and boldly to feedback, and, perhaps most importantly, a supremely careful approach to writing. If you insist on reading your copy out loud to yourself (and/or to your dog) before sharing it, you might be one of us.

    As a writer, you will…

    • Write brand appropriate copy across a number of channels and media
    • Collaborate with designers and producers to ensure seamless workflow
    • Present and defend your work to senior leadership
