Cultural Resources Communications Intern (Boston Area)
Assists the Archaeology program by creating and maintaining an official NER Archaeology Program Facebook or Instagram account. Additionally collaborates with other cultural resources specialists in the NER to identify ongoing projects, information about resources, and/or educational opportunities that should be brought to the public through social media. The intern will draft 12 detailed articles or blog-posts developed collaboratively with other specialists in NER CR programs and parks to be released digitally over the course of 1 calendar year.
By the end of their term will also produce a document that outlines recommendations for potential future projects NER CR programs can collaborate on that would continue to expand public awareness of NER cultural resources and access to data through digital platforms. Basic knowledge and interest in history, archaeology, and anthropology, along with strong written and verbal skills are required
