    What You’ll Do

    The Recruiting Research Analyst will be an integral member of the RTG Team by focusing on gathering, synthesizing, and presenting information for prospective and ongoing searches. This person must have the ability to quickly grasp and understand market dynamics and organizations within the consumer, digital, and media industries.

    The Research Analyst is responsible for working in conjunction with team members throughout the lifecycle of a search. This includes responsibilities like:

    • Assisting in the development of the search strategy: constructing target company lists, researching potential prospects, and identifying candidates
    • Preparing executive profiles on candidates and updating appropriate documentation for weekly status meetings with clients.
    • Continuous involvement with the execution of search engagements until successful completion
    • Participating in the preparation of potential new business presentations and client meetings, where appropriate
    • Tracking industry trends and developments, including information on clients and target companies
    • Playing a major role in knowledge development and sharing, such as capturing executive moves, identifying new product introductions, and understating any M&A developments, etc.

    The Research Analyst will be included in business development activities and is encouraged to develop in-depth knowledge of the consumer digital and media industries as well as functional specialties, such as marketing, public relations and communications, human resources, etc. This includes gaining awareness of current news and issues, developing a perspective on the competitive landscape, understanding new market influences, tracking public financial information, and explaining relevant trends.

    This demanding, exciting job in the recruiting industry calls for equal parts research, analysis, and recruiting skills.

  • Qualifications

    The ideal candidate for the Recruiting Research Analyst role will have:

    • A bachelor’s degree
    • A strong interest in joining a small firm and a willingness to deal with ambiguity
    • An ability to thrive in an environment where they can wear many hats
    • Experience identifying market trends and research information effectively through various channels
    • Strong organizational, analytical, detailed planning and project management skills
    • Strong intellectual capacity and the desire to continuously learn
    • Well-developed conceptual skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly
    • A strong sense of curiosity and an ability to ask questions thoughtfully and thoroughly
    • Outstanding communication skills and writing ability
    • Solid judgment skills for assessing people and situations
    • Working knowledge of Google Apps, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive
    • An ability to learn our internal database system

    This person should also be:

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables
