    We have an excellent opportunity for a Temporary, Full-Time or Part-Time Development Manager in Northwest Indiana.

    The primary responsibility will be to handle corporate fundraising, volunteer recruitment and management, and event logistics for our corporate fundraising campaigns in the NW Indiana market.

    Responsibilities

    • Focus on logistics support and volunteer management for our Heart Walk event, as well as providing support to sponsorship, as needed.
    • Supporting the Heart Walk participants, including assisting with recruiting coaches and walker.
    • Assisting in securing individual giving donations through Heart Walk website.
    • Providing overall support for event logistics based on national best practices.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in fundraising or outside sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to thrive in a results-driven and collaborative environment with highly effective organization, multi-tasking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.
