    What you will do

    We have an opening for a summer internship which would be geared towards a student in your electrical or electronics programs. The position would involve working alongside our inspectors and technicians assisting with the testing, inspection, service and installation of fire alarm equipment.

    How you will do it

    High School Diploma or equivalent required. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs. Able to work on and use safely ladders and lifts. Able to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Ability to work well with team members. Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Strong, organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
    • Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Electronics
    • An effective communicator to all levels of the organization
    • Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
    • Strong problem-solving skills
