Alabama Southern Community College, founded in 1991, is a public community college. It has around 1,400 enrolled students and campuses in Monroeville and Thomasville, Alabama. It also has learning centers in Gilbertown and Jackson. The college has a rural, commuter campus, and plenty of student events, services & activities. ASCC’s talented basketball, softball and baseball teams make the Eagles fun to cheer on! Students can also enjoy walking down the nature trail near the Monroeville campus or explore the works of Kathryn Tucker Windham in the Thomasville campuses’ Kathryn Tucker Windham Museum. The college offers a diverse experience in a small-town setting.
