American Academy of Dramatic Arts-New York, founded in 1884, is a private not-for-profit two-year performing arts school located in Manhattan, New York City. It has approximately 200 undergraduates, and is known as the oldest acting school in the English speaking world! AADA students get trained for theater, or film & television, by taking courses such as stage combat, dialects, “clown”, auditioning, and more. Its location in NYC gives its students exposure to the Broadway spotlight, Lincoln Center, Times Square, and other sights that make it the City of Dreams. It has a well-connected alumni base, including Anne Hathaway and Grace Kelly and renowned faculty. AADA- New York is a prestigious performing arts conservatory, attracting students from all over the world.
