Colorado Northwestern Community College, a two-year community college in Rangely, Colorado, is the place to be for specialized programs in aviation, dental hygiene, nursing, automotive technology and more. CNCC student athletes (known as the Spartans) compete as part of the NJCAA in basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and rodeo, and a cache of unique on-campus clubs covers such personal interests as marine biology, student government, and social acceptance. CNCC’s three residential dorms provide a comfortable “home away from home” for even the most apprehensive of students. Further, the impressive array of resources here is topped off by a 28,000-volume comprehensive library, complete with media equipment and rentable audio books, CD’s, DVD’s and video games. Semester after semester, Colorado Northwestern proves itself a cut above the competition.
