Founded in 1946, the CUNY New York City College of Technology is located in Downtown Brooklyn, New York. The college was initially started to provide training to returning soldiers, and enable the city to recover the war hit economy. The college offers associate, certificate and bachelor’s degrees, ranging disciplines such as architecture, publishing, business, and social science. It is the largest public college of technology in the state of New York. More than 19,000 students enrol annually, and the population is known for its diversity, with those from more than 120 countries studying at City Tech. The curriculum offers a blend of specialised technological instruction and broad education in liberal arts and sciences.
