Established in 1978, Davis Applied Technology College is a public technical college in Kaysville, Utah. The school offers certificate programs, apprenticeships, basic math and English classes, and workplace related courses. ESL and Adult Education courses are also offered. Courses range over a variety of fields – Business, Health Professions, Construction, Service, Transportation, and Manufacturing. DATC’s welding program is well known state over. The school’s highlight is its open-entry, open-exit policy, which, combined with its competency based education, has cultivated an environment where anyone and everyone is invited to learn and expand their horizons as per their convenience, and at little to no cost. Agreements with Weber State University and University of Phoenix allows for transfer of credits post graduation from DATC. The school has a job placement program in place as well.
