Founded in 1949, Donnelly College is a private Catholic college in Kansas City, Kansas. One of the founders, Bishop Donnelly, provided the campus (a single building), while the Benedictine Sisters (to which the other founder Sister Jerome Keeler belonged) provided the faculty. Donnelly is the only college in the four-state region to be federally designated as a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI) and a Minority Serving Institution (MSI). The college offers certificate, associate, and bachelor’s degrees in areas such as Information Systems, Organisational Leadership, and Urban Elementary Education. They also offer ESL and practical nursing courses. It has a small student body of about 500 students. Situated in the heart of Kansas City, not only is the campus easily accessible from all parts, but also near to various attractions that students can explore during weekends.
