Founded in 1970, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide is a private university. It is a virtual campus, headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, with over 125 locations across the world. Initially started as the Embry-Riddle Flying School, the school has remained true to its original aim by developing into a veritable authority in the fields of aviation and aerospace education. Embry-Riddle-Worldwide offers programs culminating in certificate, associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in various fields, such as Arts & Sciences, Aviation, Business, Engineering, and Security & Intelligence.
