When the ghosts of alumni are rumored to haunt the residence halls of a college, you know there must be a reason they choose to stick around. But in the case of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, there’s nothing to be afraid of. 5,000 students here can escape to the “Witch’s Woods” while majoring in any of two dozen academic concentrations, from nursing and hospitality management to sports science and the performing arts. Known for inclusivity, Endicott recently implemented a program called Keys to Degrees, which allows single parents to live on-campus with their children, and are in the process of replicating the program on other campuses nationwide. Academic resources include the innovative Institute for Behavioral Studies, as well as a digital media center packed with video and audio editing software and the comprehensive Halle Library, open seven days a week. Students here know how to have fun, too; a range of clubs covers every topic imaginable, such as outdoor adventure, poetry slams, graphic arts and intramural rugby. All this, and the Gulls also compete in almost 20 NCAA sports. So come experience the beautiful oceanfront campus of Endicott College; you just might not want to leave!
