Erskine College is a private Christian college established in 1839 at Due West, South Carolina. It’s both a liberal arts college with around 570 undergraduates, and a graduate-level theological seminary. Erskine has a number of great student organizations, a disc golf course and a study abroad program. The Galloway Activities Center is perfect for students who can’t go a day without working out, or for an occasional game of racquetball. Home games are just as exciting, with Erskine being home to NCAA Division II sports teams! Students are encouraged to gain real-world experience, with internships being considered for academic credit. While the rural scenery is refreshing, for those looking for a quick getaway, Charlotte and Atlanta are the right distance away for an impromptu road trip! Retired international football player, Garth Pollonais and retired TV news anchor, Susan Aude are some of its notable alumni. Erskine College provides its students with both a rigorous academic curriculum and a Christian environment.
