Established in 1965, Hopkinsville Community College is a public community college located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. It is one of the 16 colleges that make up the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). It has a branch campus at the Fort Campbell Army Base, situated on the Kentucky-Tennessee border. The college offers certificate, associate, and diploma degrees in areas such as business administration, human services, and nursing, among others. Hopkinsville also has an online and distance learning program in place. The student community is about 3000 strong, and activities on campus include clubs & organisations for just about anything, monthly film screenings, author visits, and a student run publication. Student services include career assistance, academic advising, and tutoring. Students often head to Nashville and Clarksville if they want a taste of the big city over weekends.
