Founded in 1970 in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, Inver Hills Community College offers A.S., A.A.S, and A.F.A. degrees as well as professional certifications in about forty disciplines. About 5,700 students attend, mostly from Minnesota and western Wisconsin, and the most popular degrees are in nursing, contemporary business, human service and paralegal studies. IHCC’s modern nine-building campus is nestled among ninety acres of beautifully preserved forest and wetlands, and is easily accessible, sitting just ten minutes from St. Paul off U.S. Route 52. Over a dozen of the programs at IHCC are also available online, and the college’s Honors Program offers Honors Contracts to those in excellent academic standing, which in turn improve chances for scholarships and transfer of credit to four-year institutions. Thirty on-campus organizations include an anime club, a cyber-defense team, a local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and even an African drum ensemble! Inver Hills Community College is the premier choice for career-prep education in the Midwest.
