Named after influential education advocate and former governor James A. Rhodes, Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio serves almost 4,000 students. A public, state-assisted institution, it offers dozens of associate’s-level academic programs across five divisions, including degrees in manufacturing engineering, early childhood education, and physical therapy assistance. With small class sizes, RSC is proud to maintain a student-to-faculty ratio of just 15 to 1. Its Academic Success Center is open six days a week and offers tutoring, Skill Builder Videos, and even a math success “boot camp.” An impressively far-reaching campus library contains over 80,000 books, CDs and videos, and its interlibrary loan program ensures access to items from other state universities. But students here don’t just study; they know how to have fun, too, within on-campus organizations like the running club, an animal welfare league, a creative writing club and even a Quidditch team! The Rhodes Barons even compete as members of the Ohio Regional Campus Conference in volleyball, basketball, golf, and baseball. Rhodes State College—your choice for a collegiate experience that’s consistently well-rounded and persistently high-quality!
