Michigan State University, established in 1855, is the eighth largest university in the country. It has nearly 40,000 students and is located in East Lansing, Michigan. Basketball player Magic Johnson and king entrepreneur Eli Broad are alumni of this big State school. It welcomes students from all over, contributing to diversity in every respect. The parties are fantastic, and there are hundreds of student organizations and clubs to keep you busy. It has a balanced and friendly environment that’s open to different ways of learning. It’s known for its residential college system and having one of the largest study abroad programs in the country. Its Division I sports teams are well supported (go Spartans!) with an amazing show of school spirit from its student body. The food is farm fresh and the campus and surrounding city has an array of equally tempting 2a.m eat outs. MSU is one of the top public schools with an incredible social and academic reputation.
