With three campuses in Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids, Mid-State Technical College is central Wisconsin’s educational institution of choice. Fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, MSTC offers academic programs in instrumentation and controls engineering, respiratory therapy, fire protection, civil engineering and many more fields. Plus, apprenticeships are available in carpentry, electric metering, ironworking, plumbing and more. Students can take a full slate of online, hybrid, and distance-learning courses that take advantage of modern Internet technology, including the popular Blackboard learning tool. Financial aid options include the Denis and Roberta DeVetters New Student Scholarship as well as an award specifically for RN-to-BSN candidates. And the investment is worth it: on average almost nine out of ten MSTC graduates have been placed in a job within six months of graduation, and stand to earn $400,000 more over their lifetimes than a comparable worker with just a high school diploma. Students can even join a number of on-campus organizations during their time here, such as Campus Crusade for Christ or any of nearly a dozen special-interest academic clubs. Mid-State Technical College could be your catapult to a stronger future, too!
