Established in 1908, Murray State College is a public community college with campuses in Tishomingo and Ardmore, Oklahoma. The school’s first students were mainly Native American people of the Chickasaw and Choctaw tribes. With a student population of about 3000, MSC offers associate and certificate degrees in science, arts and applied science. They also offer credits of life experiences. Tishomingo is rich with cultural heritage, and will prove a great place to explore. And if you’re in the mood for a horror story, Murray State just might have a resident poltergeist, with been reports of ghost sightings, strange noises and odd objects in the third floor of McKee Hall!
