New England Law, formerly known as the New England School of Law was established in 1908, in the Boston Theater District of Boston, Massachusetts. Although initially started as a school for women, this changed in 1926, as the school opened its doors to male students as well. Students can choose from master’s and doctoral programs in law, with specialisations in tax law, environmental law, and international law. NESL was ranked as the 45th best school for those wishing to become public defenders, and the institution is also one of the founding members of the Consortium for Innovative Legal Education. Strategically located in the Boston Theater District, students will be treated to class acts by productions often on their way to Broadway.
