Formerly known as the Eugene Bible College, the New Hope Christian College is a private Bible college located in Eugene, Oregon. Founded in 1925, and initially a school offering courses in ministerial studies and theology, the college now has undergraduate and master’s degrees in both religious and non-religious fields. Wayne Cordeiro, the evangelist and pastor, is an alumnus of the school. In fact, NHCC is a member of the Pacific Rim Christian College Consortium, whose other three members are schools in Japan, Myanmar, and Honolulu founded by Cordeiro. Located on a hill top overlooking West Eugene, the campus provides ample opportunity for reflection. One notable features of the school is the 70-foot tall cross that the campus houses.
