Founded in 1948, Northeast Mississippi Community College is a public community college located in Booneville, Mississippi. With a concentration on employer-driven, industry-specific education, the school offers associate and certificate degrees in the sciences, humanities, and business administration. With a medium sized student body of a little over 3000, a friendly, open atmosphere abounds at NMCC. Class schedules are flexible, and can be taken online as well, as per the student’s convenience. Student activities on campus include intramural sports, student organisations, and camps, to name a few. Although Booneville is a small town, it is not far from Tupelo, the birthplace of Elvis Presley, where students can head during their time off.
