Founded in 1924, Northpoint Bible College is a private bible college situated in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The school was originally called The School of the Prophets, and located in East Providence, Rhode Island, before the name change and relocation. The current campus of the school was formerly home to Bradford College. The college offers certificate, associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, all in different areas of biblical studies and theology. This is in line with the school’s aim to produce students for the Pentecostal ministry. Northpoint has about 400 students, who can also take courses at the online campus. Student activities at the school include sports and games, organisations, student gatherings, and long walks around the beautiful campus. Northpoint has also taken the unique initiative of forming ‘travelling teams’, comprising of students who are involved in practical ministry throughout the year. Located in the suburban community of Haverhill, students are provided with ample opportunity to contribute and participate in the larger community. They can also travel to Boston, a mere 45 minutes away from a night in town.
