Rhode Island School of Design, founded in 1877, is a private fine arts & design college located in Providence, Rhode Island. It has over 1,800 undergraduate students and pools courses and resources with Brown University. Its students can take part in recreational sports and a ton of clubs. It is home to the Fleet Library, one of the nation’s oldest independent art college libraries and the Nature Lab; a collection of plant, marine and animal specimens for purposes of art.
