Rutgers University- New Brunswick, the oldest campus of Rutgers University is a large public research university located across New Brunswick-Piscataway, New Jersey. Established in 1766, the campus is home to the Scarlet Knight and over 30,000 undergrads. It’s also where Kristin Davis and Elizabeth Warren went to school. The university is known as the Birthplace of College Football, alluding to the nation's first ever college football game: Rutgers versus Princeton University. Rutgers is also where the cure for tuberculosis was found! More than half of the students live on campus, and the student population in general is proud of its diversity.
