Founded in 1972, Wayne College is regional branch of the University of Akron located in Orrville, Ohio. The school offers associate, bachelor’s and certificate degrees. Students can opt for a terminal associate’s degree, or choose to pursue their last two years of bachelor’s at the University of Akron main campus. They also have a Nursing Pathway Program, Post Secondary Enrollment Options for high school juniors and seniors, and continuing education programs. With 2000 odd students in campus every year, the school has a varied number of activities for to engage in, such as exploring the surrounding nature through the nature trails, arboretum, or wetlands, playing the piano at the Union, or even simply sipping a café Frappuccino at the Students Union Starbucks.
