University of Washington-Seattle Campus, founded in 1861, is a public university with over 31,000 undergraduates. It has a gorgeous campus, with cherry blossoms prettying up the quad and the soothing Drumheller fountain, located in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the oldest universities in the west coast, known for its enterprising research, green initiatives and football team. Its campus has over 500 student organizations, and is home to around 50 sororities and fraternities. There’s as much to do outside its primarily commuter campus; with the Seattle music & coffee scene being one of the finest. Bruce Lee, action star & martial artist and Irv Robbins, co-founder of Baskin-Robbins graduated from UW Seattle. The university has great academic course offerings, coupled with an exciting city life.
