Established in 1903, Waldorf College is a private liberal arts college located in Forest City, Iowa. The college has an interesting history, it being born of the ‘The Great Hotel War of Forest City’. Initially a hotel, when it closed after four months of operation, the building was converted into a Christian College. The college has now grown to include associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and certificate programs in a wide range of fields – Business Administration, Occupational Safety, and Theatre Arts to name a few. Waldorf also has a well-equipped online campus, where students can opt to attend classes. The small class sizes, and the applied learning based curriculum makes sure students receive the added touch required to enhance their bookish knowledge. Waldorf has an active student life – the school’s acapella choir is the second oldest in the country, and with more than 35 clubs & organisations, and not to mention athletic teams as well, students are never without something to do.
