Youngstown State University, established in 1908, is an urban research university located in Youngstown, Ohio. It has over 13,300 undergraduates, and a campus close to downtown Youngstown. Students have a choice of more than 100 majors, 150 student organizations and a sizeable Greek scene. It is home to museums, planetarium shows and a center for contemporary art; appealing to the artsy and cultured.
