Only 1 Day Left to Enter the National Intern Day Contest

Internships are a huge part of students’ college experience, and nearly every student will have an internship or similar experience throughout their time in college, so we’re recognizing the hard work and dedication that goes into these programs, from both the interns themselves and from their program managers and supervisors.

National Intern Day is taking place this Thursday, July 27th — just one day away! Throughout the month of July, you’ve seen internship-related articles, intern video testimonials from recent grads to CEOs, and Facebook live sessions with CDW Corporation, Under Armour and Unilever, with L’Oreal on the horizon for this coming Thursday. Hundreds of companies have pledged to participate and nominations for both interns and intern programs have been coming in left and right. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, we have good news— there’s still time to be a part of National Intern Day!

If you want to nominate yourself, a friend or a company where you’ve interned, visit nationalinternday.com to submit your nomination for Best Intern (in one of six categories) or Best Intern Program Manager. National Intern Day is a holiday to celebrate you, so if you worked on a project that was then later implemented by the company you interned for, that deserves a pat on the back. If you know your friend juggled several projects at once and managed to meet deadlines without any issues, that shouldn’t go unrecognized. Once you enter the contest, spread the word. Share on social media, and tell everyone you know about the first-ever holiday for interns and intern programs nationwide.

The winners will be unveiled on Tuesday, August 1st and will have the chance to choose $750 worth of credit to AirBnb, Apple, Amazon, Lyft, Stubhub or Target, so you don’t want to miss out on the chance for you (or your friend) to win some serious cash. On top of the prize, you’ll have bragging rights for winning a National Intern Award; now that’s definitely a resume and confidence booster.

There’s only one day left to get in on the fun, so head on over to nationalinternday.com now to submit a nomination. You won’t regret it.
