Class of 2015, congrats on getting your college degree, and welcome to the real world! Whether you’re trying to get an interview or you don’t even know where to begin your job search, we know that sometimes those well-meaning questions from parents and family friends can be annoying…to the point where you openly side eye anyone who cheerily asks, “So, how’s the job search going?”

We feel your frustration – everyone should be celebrating your achievements, not causing you to stress about your next steps! That’s why we’ve come up with a few responses we WISH we could have voiced to put an end to all those job search questions.

1. “So many offers. Just look at all the money these companies have been throwing at me!” *Pulls out wallet and empties it.*

2. “Great. I’m going to be on presidential campaign trail with Wacka Flocka Flame.” #WackaforAmerica

3. “I heard they’re hiring at your company. What’s your role, again? Yeah, that’s the position I interviewed for!”

4. “It’s the worst.”

5. “I was going to take an offer from Google, but they’re coming on too strong. Today I found out that they have a street view of my house on Google Maps. It’s just a lot.”

6. “Ummmmmm…” (Keep this going for at least 10 seconds.)

7. “Not sure, I’ll probably break into some offices tonight to see what the status of my application is.”

8. “I’m going to marry rich.”

9. “I’m already a YouTube celebrity. Fifteen followers strong.”

10. “It’s a little hard to juggle a job search while I’m keeping Netflix in business.”

11. “I’m about three months out from becoming the dictator of a small principality just south of Narnia.”

Jokes aside, we all know the best response to questions about your search: “I’m a candidate on the largest online marketplace for students and recent grads to find part-time work and full-time jobs after graduation. Have you heard of WayUp?” Hang in there, 2015 – and remember, we’ve got you covered.
