Becoming a WayUp Campus Rep Will Give You Life

To join our team, apply to be a WayUp Campus Rep.

Two seniors at the University of Southern California made over 6-figures from the comfort of their own campus…. and they definitely didn’t do it by selling bags of candy in the library. These two hustled their way to the top by making the most of a unique role that’s out there for college students: the Brand Ambassador role. Here at WayUp, we call our Brand Ambassadors “Campus Reps,” and we’re building a small army!

Here are WayUp’s top reasons for why taking on our Campus Rep position will be the best choice you’ve ever made.

  1. Figure out your skills: In a nutshell, being a Campus Rep lets you explore different industries and disciplines. Use your networking skills by reaching out to different groups on campus, learn marketing skills by targeting the clubs and organizations most likely to identify with the brand and figure out whether “closing deals” is your middle name by seeing how well you can sell a product or service to the public.
  1. Gain real world experience outside your campus: Campus Rep roles are a great resource for students who are looking to gain experience working for “real-world” companies that expand beyond their college town and on-campus jobs.
  1. Challenge your own work-ethic: The USC students are the perfect example of self-motivation at its best. Be your own boss by making your own hours and testing your self-motivation. With most Brand Ambassador Roles, the more you put in, the more you get out. Since these roles are mutually beneficial both for the students and the companies, high success is always a win-win!

Still not convinced? Here are some quotes from last year’s rep-stars.

“I learned how to strengthen my time management and organizational skills greatly and loved the social aspect of the position. WayUp provides the perfect opportunity for students to learn about marketing outreach while being flexible and understanding when it came to academic commitments.”

– Ali L. Wisconsin ’17

“I felt so accomplished and successful and was able to complete so much with the support of the WayUp team. Even more, I had a blast along the way – I still talk to my manager all the time even though I just graduated!”

– Carly S. Rutgers ’15
