Why did you choose this job? I chose this job to get broad business exposure through a creative marketing lens. PlusMillward Brown Vermeer has a small and entrepreneurial culture, and I get the opportunity to travel… a lot.

What is an average day like in your role? The day typically starts by catching up on emails prior to our morning team meetings. during our team meetings we review who is responsible for what for that day or couple of days. we then split up to work on our respective tasks, with client meetings interspersed throughout the day.

What’s the most challenging part of your job? Dealing with very demanding clients who often want results immediately!

What’s your favorite part of the job? I love the exposure to really interesting brands who are facing some difficult problems.

What’s a common misconception about your job? That traveling for business is always fun and glamorous – it can be really grueling!

Any tips for current college students who aspire to have your job? Speak to people in the industry before you apply to learn more about what it’s like and begin building relationships.

If you had a time machine and could travel back to visit yourself in college, what’s the #1 piece of advice you would have given yourself? Spend more time exploring different career options,and speaking to people who have the jobs you are interested in!

What is a fun perk of your job? Annual company outings in Mexico!
