Have you ever wished you could figure out peoples’ emotions?
Microsoft apparently has, and they’ve recently received a patent for goggles that would be able to detect the emotions of others, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
According to the patent, the goggles would be able to recognize the emotional states of others by comparing that information with a database of gestures, expressions, and speech. The information would then be provided to the wearer of the goggles in real time.
At the time, it’s unclear whether or not Microsoft will go through with developing this product.
