Celebrating National Intern Day at RSM

In honor of National Intern Day, we are taking time to celebrate and recognize all of our RSM interns as valued members of our teams. We thank them for continually making an impact on our clients, colleagues, and communities across the nation! We reached out to our current summer interns and asked them to share their RSM experience and what they have learned so far during their internship:

“Gaining real client exposure and being fully involved with the project I’ve been assigned to has been my favorite part. Being able to see the firm’s leadership strategically navigate our client’s complex issues has been a great learning experience. I look forward to continue studying the way the firm drives meaningful relationships.” – Sam, Consulting Intern, Chicago

“My favorite part of the internship so far has been collaborating with my teammates to find solutions for our clients’ needs. A career at RSM means that I will be able to grow not only professionally but also as a person. There are a lot of employee network groups that I look forward to hopefully be able to join one day.” – Juan, Consulting Intern, Dallas

“I have learned so much about the culture at RSM. It’s very caring and growth-oriented, not only professionally, but also socially. Going into accounting I heard about RSM and set being part of the firm as a goal for my college career.” – Charlie, Consulting Intern, Los Angeles

“I’ve enjoyed learning how NetSuite is implemented and how easily customizable it is to the client’s needs and wants. Also, networking; I’ve met so many different people who exhibit the 5’Cs on a day-to-day basis and I am looking forward to being like them in hopes of teaching others to do the same.” – Esmeralda, Consulting Intern, Austin

“My favorite part of the internship has been getting to work with my engagement teams. Everyone is so friendly and eager to help me and it’s been wonderful getting to know them. I’m looking forward to getting to meet more people and getting to know the people I’ve already met even better.” – Jonathan, Audit Intern, Cincinnati

“Even being in a virtual internship, I have made friends with people from my office and other offices across the United States. RSM has really emphasized the importance of CDI, which is extremely important for me to have that support system. It makes me feel a part of a community by being able to join employee network groups.” – Caitlyn, Tax Intern, New Jersey

“One of my favorite things about my internship experience so far has been all the opportunities I have had as an intern to help produce real tax work for clients of the firm. One thing I am looking forward to about my internship having the chance to build a home for Habitat for Humanity with members of my office.” – Emily, Tax Intern, Davenport
