Have a Case of the Travel Bug? This Purpose-Driven Company Lets You Go All Over the World

Calling all the travel lovers out there: We’ve got quite the opportunity for you.

What if we told you that you could take part in a training program that allowed you to not just rotate between different roles in your industry of choice for several years but also between different countries too?

We’re about to make your day: That program does exist, and you can apply for it right now.

Unilever, the company behind mega-brands like Ben & Jerry’s, Dove, Axe and so many more, has an incredible initiative called the Unilever Future Leaders Program (UFLP), a three-year rotation program for recent grads (and future leaders, obviously) that gives them exposure to a wide variety of fields and responsibilities. If you’re a student looking for your first big post-grad career move, UFLP is an amazing option!

A person in the finance track of the UFLP, for example, could get a crash course in financial transactions, business partnering and customer development. In contrast, the marketing track focuses on brand building, digital media and brand development. By getting that extra insight, you’ll leave with a much better idea of where you’d fit into Unilever and where your career can go.

Aside from all the great work you’re going to be doing, there’s an added perk: Travel.

Not only is the program available in 50 different countries around the world, but there are also opportunities to become part of an international rotation, meaning you could work in one country for several months before being transferred to another. In addition, because Unilever’s operation is global, there are even more opportunities to travel for business or just be in contact with people from all walks of life.

But on top of getting to travel, you also get to work with fellow Unilever Future Leaders from around the world, giving you valuable insights as to how your colleagues operate, while also getting the opportunity to bring your backgrounds together to do great work within Unilever and also within the local communities they serve. A Unilever team, for example, can work with nearby food banks and other volunteer organizations to bring sustainable food solutions to people who need them the most. Talk about making a global impact.

More information about Future Leaders Program can be found on Unilever’s website, but if you want to get started with Unilever right now, this is your chance: The company is hiring for a number of internship and co-op positions, so get those apps in ASAP!
