Wrap Up Your Spring Semester

Spring has officially sprung and with that comes a few things: midterms, finals, #SpringBreak and of course, the wrap up of Spring Semester. For some of you, this semester marks the bittersweet end of your college experience. For others, it simply means another summer break is on the horizon. So, what can you do to ensure you end this semester on the best note?

1. Set a goal. We are strong believers that GPA isn’t everything. However, if you didn’t start this semester off with a bang, you still have the second half to pick things up. Push yourself to study that extra 5 minutes, glance over that final paper ONE more time and just generally make sure your work is as stellar as you are. If you’re part of a club or organization and didn’t have time to engage as much as you wanted to, push yourself to talk to one more person and help plan one more event.

2. Bucket list. Whether you’re a senior or a freshman, college is truly a once in a lifetime experience, a real YOLO moment in time if you will. Make a bucket list of goals, and then go get ‘em! Whether it’s completing the 100-wing challenge at the local bar or getting a solid 100 on a test… push yourself to get.it.done. You have a month and a half left until summer…so what’s on your list?

3. Line up an A+ summer. First comes Spring, then comes Summer. Take some of the remaining time in this semester to plan. Naturally, we think you should start by securing that #SummerInternship. (we hear this really cool site, campusjob.com, has more than a few…). If you already have an internship lined up for this summer (look at you!), then do some research for your weekends. If you’re going to be in a city this summer, figure out if the local parks and museums have any awesome student-discount events.
