Job Description

 Accounting Principals is seeking experienced Loan Processors on a Direct Hire bases for a Mortgage client located in Los Angeles, CA. Loan Processors will be responsible for reviewing and verifying loan documents including income, credit, appraisal, title insurance etc.

AS A LOAN PROCESSOR YOUR JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Calculate income for all borrowers while following investor-specific guidelines
• Process FHA, VA, Conventional, Home Equity Lines of Credit, 2nd Mortgages, Home Improvement loans, as well as Jumbo Loans and Non-QM
• Work directly with loan agents, transaction coordinators and third parties in the mortgage loan transaction.
• Obtain verification of deposit, employment and credit report
• Monitor all workload to ensure loans are being processed timely
• Reviw all loan documents such as income, credit, appraisal and title insurance, to ensure complete and accurate information is in the file before it is sent to underwriting
• Ensure any necessary and critical changes which require redisclosure have been accurately notated and checked in the loan origination system for compliance purposes
• Coordinate loan closing with title companies, and loan agents.

YOU ARE THE PERFECT PERSON IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Experience using Encompass
• Be able to analyze complex tax returns to calculate income for all types of borrowers
• Product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

This a Direct Hire position position with excellent benefits and will be fully remote. The total compensation package with base salary and commission is in the range of $75-85K
