Accounting Principals is looking to fill a Direct Hire Mortgage Underwriter Job in San Diego, CA for our client. This Mortgage Underwriter opportunity requires prior experience in the mortgage industry! My Client is still growing and looking to add someone very dynamic and fast-paced to the team. The culture is amazing, their overall tenure is unmatched and the company is open to fully remote applicants! This is an immediate direct hire opportunity paying up to $100,000 annually.

Responsibilities for this Mortgage Underwriter job opportunity:

• Authorizing and underwriting loans – Conventional, FHA, VA, etc…

• Ensure all necessary compliance and reporting regulations are met.

• Preparing reports on assessment findings.

• Analyze risk and document accordingly.

• Returning applications to loan officer for review.

Qualifications:

• Mortgage/Loan experience required.

• DE certification is a huge plus!

• Moderate skill with Microsoft Office and Encompass.

• Solid working knowledge of mortgage loan processing and relevant legal regulations.
