Job Summary:

The AI Intern works with cutting-edge AI technologies primarily within the cloud developing code in a collaborative team environment. This internship consists of real-world projects and deliverables that will give you exposure to a variety of AI technologies from a variety of industries. AI Interns have the opportunity to work on client projects that have a real business impact and provide experience and skills to equip for their future career.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Interacts with project leaders to define and document project specifications
• Designs, develops, tests, and implements AI agents for deterministic and/or predictive use cases, including integration with automation (RPA) and decision support solutions
• Participates in support activities for existing software
• Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing datasets for AI/ML projects, including data exploration and feature engineering
• Assist in model training and evaluation for specific use cases
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

• Currently attending an accredited college or university, required; focus in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or Data Science, preferred
• Academically in good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, required
• Currently an actively enrolled Junior / Senior student, preferred

Experience:

• Three (3) or more months experience with AI agents or predictive model development
• Classroom programming experience, required

Software:

• Strong SQL Server skills along with SQL queries and stored procedures, required
• Experience with one or more the following technologies, preferred:
  • Machine Learning
  • Visualization Tool Experience Such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Open AI and/or Google Gemini and/or Grok
  • C# / ASP.NET
  • Automation tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, etc.
  • Programming languages, including Python and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of libraries, including LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $33.00/hr - $37.00/hr
