    The Opportunity

    As a Connected Physical Products Intern, you will engage in the dynamic field of Software and Product Innovation, focusing on User Interaction Engineering. Within our Advisory practice, you will support teams and participate in projects that drive innovation and develop new products and services, from ideation to commercialization. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to competitive differentiation and growth, while gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices.

    As an Intern, you will adopt a learning mindset and take ownership of your development. You will support teams with basic tasks, observe professional work environments, and participate in projects that enhance your understanding of product innovation. This role emphasizes the importance of actively listening, asking questions, and clearly expressing ideas to contribute effectively to project goals. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness.

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting teams in the development and implementation of innovative product solutions
    • Participating in user interaction engineering projects to enhance client support services
    • Observing and learning from experienced professionals in software and product innovation
    • Conducting research and gathering information to assist in product customization and development
    • Creating mock-ups and prototypes to demonstrate product design concepts
    • Utilizing AngularJS and CSS to contribute to front-end web development tasks
    • Engaging in active listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional growth
    • Collaborating with team members to analyze workflows and identify areas for improvement
    • Applying human-centered design principles to optimize user experience and usability
    • Developing user personas and conducting user research to inform design decisions

    What You Must Have

    • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
    • Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

    • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
    • Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
    • Preferred major GPA: 3.3
    • Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
    • Supporting client-focused product innovation projects
    • Participating in user interaction engineering tasks
    • Learning and applying product innovation methodologies
    • Observing and contributing to business and supply chain operations
    • Developing skills in AngularJS and CSS for web applications

    The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
