133696 276512BR 276512BR Operations Excellence Consultant Job Description JOB SUMMARY Deliver a learning experience that results in learner confidence in skills/knowledge and readiness to serve clients. Plans and manages delivery of all market level Tax Training School content, including basic Income Tax Course, upper-level training, and in-market training (Skills to Win, Dress Rehearsals, mid-season, etc.). Provides materials, direction, and support for instructor selection, performance and development. Serves as liaison with virtual instructor pool and key initiatives at Client Service Center (HQ). Facilitates implementation of tax and operations field training programs for field leadership. Acts as performance consultant by evaluating field performance and providing feedback to HR/training organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop the tools/materials to support the recruitment, selection, performance management, and development of field seasonal instructors. * Educate field leaders on core instructor competencies and provide coaching/guidance to ensure selection of top instructors and continued instructor development. * Coach DMs on instructor observations, class visits, and instructor performance. Serve as consultant to DM on instructor performance, using instructor ratings, DM observations, student exams, and student performance as instructor performance input. * Serve as liaison between field and CSC (HQ) training teams, providing CSC with input to ensure alignment with field stakeholder needs. * Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions to ensure instructors are adequately equipped to deliver critical training, such as dress rehearsals, etc. * Support virtual classroom deployment and act as support for centralized virtual instructor selection. * Ensure effective training delivery within the market, including basic Income Tax Course, advanced tax theory, operations, products/services, and leadership topics. * Provide guidance for scheduling, classroom/facilities selection, instructor selection, book/materials ordering, setup and equipment management within designated market. * Serve as key contact within market for training-related process issues, questions, etc. * Coordinate and drive compliance with certification programs, including federal, state, and internal certification requirements. * Monitor TTS scheduling, book ordering, and instructor labor; provide analysis and reporting to ensure financial compliance. * Provide guidance to Training content development teams for future seasonal associate and field leader training needs. * Other duties as assigned.
