The International Tax Global Mobility Intern is a position supporting International Tax Global Mobility consultants and tax professionals around the firm. In this position, the intern will work under the supervision and guidance of International Tax Global Mobility leadership on daily responsibilities and projects.
How you will contribute:
- Learning aspects of Global Mobility Services, including individual income tax compliance, tax consulting and planning, social security tax compliance, and withholding tax implications for employees/employers and other high net worth individuals working inside and outside the U.S.
- Working with other professionals within our National Tax Services team as well as with tax professionals, both domestically and internationally, to assist with tax compliance requirements for Individuals owning foreign corporations, partnerships, and other disregarded entities
- Providing tax consulting and compliance in a professional environment for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions
- Helping to draft and assisting in the delivery of client projects; utilizing the quantitative analysis to solve issues that arise
- Assisting with U.S. tax reporting for international transactions as well as informational foreign reporting
- Working with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Go Systems
- Delivering FORVIS’ commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients

Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing an accounting degree
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates within 2 years of completing their Bachelor’s degree
- Interested in pursuing the CPA license
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
