DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

Today’s thriving companies realize the necessity of managing business risk. As an intern on the SOC and HITRUST team, you will help clients identify and manage that risk and improve IT processes and controls. As an intern, you will assist with the planning, executing, and reporting on a variety of compliance reports including SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, HITRUST assessments, and ISO 27001 Certifications.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

• Maintaining a working knowledge of assurance and compliance standards appropriate for assigned engagements

• Maintaining and achieving high quality in work, client relations, and team relations

• Acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty

• Anticipating and identifying engagement-related risks and escalating issues as appropriate in a timely manner

• Assisting with conducting tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls

• Assisting with client engagement activities in all phases of the project life cycle from start to end

• Supporting knowledge-sharing efforts and continually improving processes so that the SOC and HITRUST Team can capture and leverage the knowledge

• Delivering FORVIS’ commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
